Victoria moved to Sonoma County from the Bay Area and has a deep connection to, and love for this county. She relocated to Occidental in 1995 with her husband and two young sons when they realized this village had everything to offer on their wish list. Victoria quickly immersed herself in the community, starting a garden program at the local school and served on the Harmony Union School Board. Later, she acted as the project facilitator for the school's LEED Platinum Certified Salmon Creek Falls Environmental Center. Victoria has a passion for connecting people to the community, has a wonderful ability to sense the needs of others, and exudes valuable insight only an elder in the community can offer.
Victoria’s family built their dream house on 32 undeveloped acres in Occidental, which was an incredible learning experience. As owner-builders, they designed their home with Green Building principles and are developing the land with Permaculture practices, including solar and roof water collection. Victoria is nourished by this lifestyle and is excited about supporting others as they imagine possibilities for their own home.
In her free time, Victoria finds delight in tending a large garden, orchard, and the animals with her husband of 33 years, adult children, and their partners, who visit often. She sings in a choir, is a long-time meditator, and finds great satisfaction in helping elders transition in a conscious manner. Victoria has traveled extensively with her family, which has only reinforced their feelings that Sonoma County is the best place in the world to live.
Using her architectural knowledge, eye for detail, and ability to find creative solutions, Victoria is able to identify the possibilities of a property.
