Sandy has been involved in many non-profit and community organizations, including past board member of the Sebastopol Downtown Association, the Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation, a leader of Slow Food Russian River, and the Cool Schools Project, working with local students in learning about reducing greenhouse gas emissions from their school operations.
