Born and raised in the Richmond District, Mike attended Alamo Elementary and Presidio Middle School before spending a transformative decade in Ireland, reconnecting with his extended family— grandmother, aunties, uncles, and cousins. Mike continued his education at Kilkenny College and later earned a degree in International Business and Spanish from the Dublin Institute of Technology. As part of his studies, he spent a year in Vitoria-Gasteiz, the capital of the Basque Country, immersing himself in the local culture, language, and rugby community.
In 2012, Mike returned home to work for his family's construction and development firm, where he gained valuable, hands-on experience in seismic retrofitting, Victorian home restorations, and multi-unit developments. In 2013, Mike earned his real estate license and joined Vanguard Properties, launching a career built on integrity, strategy, and trust.
