Since beginning her career in 2007 just before the onset of the Great Recession, Megan has gained an array of invaluable skills, including creativity, adaptability, and empathy. A bachelor’s degree in English from St. Mary’s College and a master’s in Philosophy from San Francisco State underpin her clear, effective communication style, negotiation prowess, and problem-solving abilities. Indeed, how many agents can count formal logic training among their strengths? Yet, Megan’s compassion trumps her intellectual talents: She sees each transaction from the client’s vantage point and shows up exactly how they need her to. That, along with reliability and perseverance, make Megan a true professional — one who strives to serve her clients to the highest level.
Megan earned her license during college but began her career afterward as an administrator for a top agent in San Diego. Navigating the tumult of the housing crash gave her an unofficial Ph.D. in real estate and taught her how to troubleshoot tough realities. After finishing her master’s thesis in 2014, Megan and her mother, Kim, began their real estate partnership, which they continue to grow daily with renewed excitement.
Ever passionate about learning, Megan continually adds to her expansive skill set, which has included studies in Greek, Japanese, Latin, and Spanish. She has developed a knack for identifying subtleties in communication and tuning in to the true needs of her clients. She also has an eye for design, which she uses both in helping her sellers maximize their investments and when creating beautiful spaces and things at home.
A third-generation Northern Californian, Megan has called the East Bay home for most of her life. From elementary through Campolindo High School and St. Mary’s College, she has first-hand knowledge of the local schools, and with children of her own, she continues to broaden her local network and community impact. When she’s not helping her clients, Megan is working with Super Stars Literacy, a nonprofit organization that helps at-risk school children learn to read at grade level, Lamorinda Moms, and the Junior League of Oakland-East Bay, which she’s been a part of since age 22. In her off-hours, Megan loves taking family trips with her husband and two kids. She’s also a sucker for binge-worthy historical dramas and books about neuroscience.
