Marie grew up in rural Upstate New York, where she developed a deep love for small towns and nature. She pursued her passion for understanding people by majoring in psychology at a state university before moving to Northern Virginia to earn a master’s degree in School Counseling. Throughout her career in schools, Marie discovered that listening with compassion and building strong relationships enabled her to advocate effectively for her students. Her genuine desire to help others was reflected in the connections she made with students, parents, and school staff. In addition to her work in education, Marie has always thrived in the hospitality industry, where her love for service and her ability to connect with people have allowed her to create meaningful experiences. Her values of honesty and compassion have been at the core of every relationship she builds, helping her truly understand and meet the needs of clients she serves.
In 2012, Marie moved to Southern California, and three years later, she fell in love with Northern California. Having lived coast to coast and visited friends across the country, she knew Sonoma County was where she wanted to settle. After renting homes in Forestville, Guerneville, and Cazadero, Marie set her sights on becoming a homeowner. Her journey wasn’t easy—after more than two years of searching and navigating the market, her persistence and determination paid off, and her dream of owning a piece of paradise became a reality. Together with her partner, Marie fully remodeled their home, establishing valuable relationships with local contractors along the way. Her own experiences in the home-buying process inspired her to help others navigate this significant life event.
For the past nine years, Marie has been fortunate to call West Sonoma County her home, and she treasures the opportunity to raise her two daughters in such a beautiful and close-knit community. Beyond her dedication to real estate and family, she enjoys cooking, baking, practicing yoga, and exploring the county's stunning trails.
