Born in the Soviet Union (now Ukraine) and immigrating to the U.S. at just two years old, San Francisco is the only place Luba remembers calling “home.” Her deep connection to The City runs through every street, view, and neighborhood, grounding her and fueling her passion for helping others find their place in its iconic 7x7 landscape.
Always ahead of the curve, Luba left Lowell High School early and earned her hospitality management degree from the University of San Francisco (USF). She started her career in hotels before pivoting after 9/11, taking on office management roles until she discovered her true calling: real estate.
In 2006, Luba joined a boutique real estate company in Noe Valley and was named Rookie of the Year. She quickly rose to Top Producer status, earning a reputation as a market expert and trusted advisor. Known for her thoughtful, client-first approach, she also became a respected real estate blogger, keeping her finger on The City’s pulse.
When the firm where her career began was absorbed into the corporate real estate world, Luba—never one to conform—searched for the right fit, much like Goldilocks. She found her “just right” at Vanguard Properties, San Francisco’s premier independent brokerage. Here, she discovered a team of colleagues who share her values and passion for excellence.
When it came time to grow her business and create the LubaSF team, Luba knew she couldn’t bring just anyone on board. She needed someone brilliant, with a strong work ethic and the same commitment to serving clients with care, honesty, and excellence. Enter Felipe De Bedout—a rising star in San Francisco real estate who shares Luba’s passion for helping clients achieve their goals. Luba’s passion for nurturing extends beyond dogs—she’s an avid collector of houseplants and tattoos, each reflecting her creative spirit and love for growth.
