One year after moving to San Francisco in 1979, following life in five cities around the world, it was obvious to me it was where I wanted to live and bring up my family. Interested in architecture and design and the innate value of property in this jewel of a city, led to my first purchase of a 3-unit cosmetic fixer. Following was 33 years as an active Broker and 42 years building an investment portfolio for myself and my clients.
I have worked with three boutique real estate companies in the city. I also worked for the Brazilian Embassy in Washington D.C., honing negotiation skills, now used in obtaining the best purchase and sales prices for my clients. It is a difficult time for buyers and has been for a while. It is my personal challenge to get buyers into escrow, and the best price for sellers. Most of my business is from satisfied return clients and even their children!
I am fluent in four languages: English, Portuguese, Italian, and French. I continue trying to speak better Spanish! I have a degree from the American University in Paris, a Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University, and a Master in Literature from the American University in Washington DC. When I have downtime, I enjoy reading, painting, gardening, hiking, cooking, and traveling.
The bottom line? I take a lot of pride in my work, and I love what I do! That translates into an enjoyable experience for my clients during a financial transaction that can be complicated and stressful.
