Josh Vela

Originally from Houston, Texas, Josh spent 11 years living and working in New York City before finding his forever home in San Francisco.

 

For the past 13 years, Josh has held leadership roles with Equinox Fitness, where he specialized in member experience, education, talent development, and team leadership. During his tenure, he helped open two clubs in New York City and played a key role in developing coaches across the organization. His career has centered on helping people grow, reach their goals, and navigate important life decisions—skills that translate seamlessly into guiding clients through the real estate process.

 

Josh also served as Director of Fitness for Daily Burn, where he led digital fitness production and helped create programming for a global audience. His experience in digital media and storytelling sharpened his ability to communicate clearly, market effectively, and present properties in compelling ways.

 

While building his real estate career, Josh continues to mentor instructors, train clients, and coach fitness classes both live and digitally—something he remains deeply passionate about. Pilates is his favorite modality, and he believes its principles of strength, alignment, and balance extend far beyond the studio. That same philosophy shapes his approach to life and work: maintaining an exuberant, resilient energy while helping others stay grounded and focused on their long-term goals.

 

Josh believes that fitness and real estate share a common foundation—both are deeply personal journeys that require guidance, strategy, and vision. Whether helping someone build physical strength or find the right place to call home, his mission is the same: to support people in creating lives that feel balanced, empowered, and sustainable.

 

When he’s not working with clients or teaching, you can find Josh exploring the outdoors or cycling around the Bay Area, taking full advantage of everything Northern California has to offer.
