With her lineage rooted in real estate through her mother, Bonnie, a respected local realtor for 38 years, she has continued this legacy for 25 years in the East Bay community. Raised in San Francisco – specifically on the Piedmont side of Montclair – Joanna attended Montclair Elementary, Montera Junior High, and The College Preparatory School. With decades of residing in the Oakland Hills, she possesses a keen understanding of the nuances within various neighborhoods throughout the Bay Area.
Starting as an English major at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, where her daughter will also attend this fall, Joanna later graduated with honors from UCLA, holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film. Missing Northern California, she returned home to the the Bay Area in her twenties and began her real estate career.
Joanna recently joined Vanguard Properties. Established in the 1980s, Vanguard Properties is the largest privately and locally owned brokerage firm in the East Bay.
