Jennifer Supman brings over 16 years of real estate litigation, general counsel, and risk management experience to her position as General Counsel and Senior Vice President of Vanguard Properties.
Prior to joining Vanguard Properties, Jennifer was a shareholder at the law firm of Manning & Kass, Ellrod, Ramirez, Trester LLP. Jennifer was the Practice Area Leader in the San Francisco Office of Manning & Kass for the Real Estate Agent and Broker Liability Team, in addition to the Real Estate Errors and Omissions Team. At Manning & Kass, Jennifer specialized in the defense of real estate agents and brokers in both civil and administrative claims. While at Manning & Kass, Jennifer served as outside General Counsel for several premier real estate brokerages throughout Northern California. In that role, she advised and counseled executive teams, and more than 500 real estate agents and brokers throughout Northern California, on legal matters, transaction-specific inquiries, contract drafting and negotiation, industry regulations and compliance, best practices, risk management considerations, insurance coverage considerations, and brokerage wide processes and procedures.
Jennifer received the distinction of being named a Super Lawyer Rising Star by Law & Politics Magazine in 2009 and 2013-2021. Jennifer is a member and active participant in the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS) and the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance (CLM). Jennifer was also nominated for and attended the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) Trial School in 2013.
In 2003, Jennifer received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with minors in business and sociology from Tulane University. In 2006, she received her Juris Doctor from Golden Gate University School of Law, with a Litigation Specialization. While obtaining her law degree, Jennifer was a member of the Moot Court Board, Mock Trial Program, and Trial Advocacy Program. Jennifer continues to participate in her law school’s Trial Advocacy Program, serving as a judge during Mock Trial Competitions.
Jennifer is a member of the State Bar of California.
