Jason Bennett

As a Calistoga resident, he has a keen eye on the residential markets of both Napa and Sonoma Valley. He has been a successful entrepreneur as a real estate developer in residential and commercial projects. Focusing on new construction and value-add projects, Jason has successfully exited over thirty deals in Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, Montecito, San Francisco, Piedmont, Sun Valley, and Boise. In Laguna Beach, Jason was a co-owner of Emerald Bay Realty in 2001, successfully hiring, training, and managing new agents and increasing sales by 225% during his tenure. Mr. Bennett holds a California Real Estate License and a California Contractors License. Jason first became a licensed real estate agent in 1994 and has been a licensed contractor in Idaho and California since 2005.

Mr. Bennett is also an active angel investor, venture capitalist, and operating partner with Sum Ventures. He is a member of Silicon Valley’s Band of Angels, the oldest angel network in Silicon Valley. Throughout his career, Jason has held senior-level roles at Accenture, Dell/EMC, Gartner, Deutsche Telekom/T-Mobile, and Hitachi Data Systems.

As a graduate of the University of Southern California, Jason is an active member of the Trojan family volunteering his time with USC Admissions and serving as the advisory leader for Trojans at the Los Angeles Venture Association. Mr. Bennett was the founding board member and President of the Idaho Chapter of the Entrepreneurs Organization.

Mr. Bennett and his wife Kirsten have three kids that have all successfully left the nest. Kirsten is a Certified Interior Designer and kitchen and bath remodeler. She has been supporting her clients for over 30 years. Jason and Kirsten enjoy all that Northern California and Idaho have to offer - sun, sand, waves, mountains, and of course wine!
