I am a 3rd generation Bay Area native, born on Marin’s iconic Mt. Tam, in the same house that my parents still live in today. I am the proud son of a carpenter and dance aerobics teacher. After school, I spent many afternoons helping my father on job sites or at his business, The Mill Valley Cabinet shop, which forged my lifelong connection to building and homes (fortunately, I didn’t have to teach any aerobics). It was during these formative years that I got hands-on building experience (consisting mostly of tree forts), learned the importance of quality design and engineering (especially handy for building ziplines), and cultivated a strong work ethic.
I graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a Master’s Degree in Industrial and Technical Studies (which helped set me up for a future career in Product Development) and returned to the Bay Area to start my next chapter in tech and hardware accessories. My two decades in product development helped me foster an expertise of organizational leadership, running teams, managing domestic and international suppliers within extremely tight timelines. I gained an understanding of the importance of working with integrity, building meaningful professional relationships, and authenticity. This experience taught me the significance of how even the smallest details substantially impact the creation of great products (even on something as simple as an iPhone case). I was fortunate enough to buy my first home in Russian Hill, SF and was even able to convince my father to come out of retirement to help me fix it up. This accomplishment re-ignited my love of building, and launched a decade of buying, developing, and managing a portfolio of houses, multi-unit and mixed-use buildings in Mill Valley, Tiburon and San Francisco. I have experienced all phases of real-estate development; from planning, permitting and building, to operating and managing short and long-term rentals. Despite the ups and downs of real estate, I continue to have an unwavering passion for the industry.
In my current professional chapter, I am combing my real estate experience, understanding of the local market and focus on outstanding service to assist first-time homebuyers, seasoned investors, and savvy sellers through their unique real estate journeys. I’ve lived the frustrations and challenges of buying, selling, and remodeling homes and want to share these learnings with my clients so that I can successfully navigate them through one of the most significant financial decisions in their lifetime. A satisfied client is the best business strategy of all, and I am committed to exceeding my clients' expectations.
When I’m not working on real estate, you can find me cycling around SF and Marin, exploring the hills around Potrero Hill and the Mission with my wife, or snowboarding in the winter. What’s not to love about living in the Bay Area? That’s why we are here.
