Born and raised in Colombia, Felipe moved to the U.S. at just 15 years old with his 18-year-old sister. Landing in Los Angeles, he quickly embraced the possibilities of his new home. Independent from a young age, Felipe’s determination to create his own path guided him as he worked hard, stayed focused on his goals, and surrounded himself with inspiring, driven individuals who helped shape his journey.
Felipe earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from CSULB, and it was a twist of fate—COVID—that eventually brought him to San Francisco. From the moment he stepped foot in The City, exploring its diverse neighborhoods, vibrant culture, and electric energy, Felipe felt an immediate connection. Despite having traveled to over 20 countries and countless cities worldwide, no place ever resonated with him quite like San Francisco. It wasn’t just a city; it was home.
Felipe’s early career in sales gave him a knack for understanding people, connecting them with what they truly needed, and delivering exceptional service. But retail wasn’t enough—it was real estate that perfectly combined his love for tangible spaces with the intangible feeling of home. Once the idea struck, Felipe wasted no time launching his career with Vanguard Properties, San Francisco’s top independent real estate brokerage.
