Diana honed her sales and business skills as a sales executive for the IBM Corporation, where she was a consistent top performer for over 20 years. She held numerous management and staff positions. As Director of Solutions and Support, she managed a 150-person sales team in the US, Canada and Latin America that attained over $1 Billion in revenue.
After leaving IBM, Diana launched a new career in real estate in the Bay Area. She served as the Branch Manager of the Walnut Creek Branches of prominent real estate brokerages. In these positions, she was responsible for the sales, recruiting, training of the agents and the client satisfaction of the offices. As a Broker Associate with Vanguard Properties, Diana works with both buyers and sellers to find or sell their dream homes. She has a reputation for being responsive, hard-working and an effective negotiator. She will work hard for you and go the extra mile get the job done with the best outcome and a minimum of stress.
In addition to her extensive business expertise, Diana has held numerous Federal government positions. She served on the staff of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights and was Executive Assistant to the Director of the Minority Business Development Agency. She was appointed Special Assistant to President Reagan for Public Liaison and served in that position for two years.
Diana and her husband, Tom, are avid travelers and have visited over 60 countries together. They divide their time between homes in Lafayette and St. Helena in Napa Valley, where Tom is affiliated with a fine-art gallery. They have two sons and two grandchildren.
Diana is a native of the Bay Area, growing up in Sunnyvale. She is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and studied for a year at the University of Madrid as part of Cal’s Study Abroad program. She did post-graduate work at the UC Graduate School of Romance Languages and the George Washington University Graduate School of Public Administration.
