Helping her clients achieve their lifestyle and financial goals means first getting to know them. “I always like to have a face-to-face meeting initially so I can hear what they are looking for and can hone in on what they are telling me,” she explains. “The more I understand about what they want, the easier it is to help them discover exactly what they are looking for in a home and community.”
Most of the home buyers and home sellers Davis serves come to her via an extensive network of current and former clients, family members, friends and acquaintances. “Word of mouth means everything in Sonoma County,” says Crystal, a life-long Sonoma County resident. “It really does matter when you know every nook and cranny in a community. “I can drive down the street with a client and tell them all about the community – in addition to this great house I am going to show you, there’s an elementary school within walking distance and a dog park two blocks away. That’s the kind of information they don’t necessarily find online.”
Crystal also works with sellers to price their home based on the most current information and creates an individualized marketing program that leverages tactics likely to attract as many buyers as possible who are willing to match, or exceed, the listing price.
Prior to earning a real estate license in 2006, Crystal served for multiple years as an administrative/marketing assistant and transaction coordinator for another local real estate brokerage. The experience readied her for the rigors of buyer/seller negotiations and taught her the importance of helping clients understand what they are signing.
Crystal and her husband, Nick, live in West Santa Rosa with their two sons. She is an active member in the PTA, a past board member for the Extended Child Care Coalition, and past treasurer/co-program chair on the Presbyterian Preschool board of directors.
