Courtney Banks grew up in a small suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a fantastic place to grow up. However, at 18, Courtney was ready for the sunshine and allure of San Francisco, California. In 2008, she moved to San Francisco to attend the University of San Francisco, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interpersonal Communication, followed by a Master’s Degree in Education. Before transitioning to real estate, Courtney taught Kindergarten at Lafayette Elementary School in the Outer Richmond of San Francisco.
One of the things that originally drew Courtney to the beautiful city of San Francisco was her love for the city's unique architecture. Having lived in the area for over a decade, she has explored, experienced, and resided in multiple neighborhoods throughout the city and the Bay Area, including the Outer Richmond, Panhandle, Marina, North Beach, Presidio, Sausalito, Petaluma, and now calls Sebastopol home. This variety of neighborhood knowledge makes Courtney a great resource for any buying or selling needs.
Through her teaching career, Courtney developed a strong sense of patience, understanding, and creativity in problem-solving. These skills have enabled her to build meaningful relationships with clients, helping them navigate any real estate needs. She understands that buying or selling a home is a personal and often emotional process and will be there to support clients in finding their perfect solution.
Courtney loves taking advantage of all that the Bay Area has to offer, especially the food! She enjoys staying active with her family's four dogs in beautiful Marin, or at their favorite spot, Dillon Beach, or strolling through different neighborhoods in search of the newest bakeries.
