Cole merges her understanding of property values with her creative imagination, helping clients make the most of any property in terms of both investment potential and personal satisfaction.
Cole Turner has been investing in California property since 2001 and became a licensed Real Estate agent in December, 2023. Cole’s grandparents and great-grandparents were farmers, homebuilders, developers, and Real Estate professionals all over the Bay Area. Her paternal grandfather served as President of the California Association of Realtors. Her father framed some of the most iconic and well-loved buildings of the greater Bay Area – the dome-shaped Century 21 Theaters. Cole’s parents were raised in Willow Glen and Campbell. Cole herself has lived, worked, or owned property in 7 of the 10 Bay Area counties.
As part of a 7-generation Bay Area family, Cole cherishes Bay Area values and culture. Cole believes that every family deserves to own a home, and every human has a right to a home that nurtures their soul. She is committed to doing everything in her power to bring home ownership to anyone who aims for it – including fellow teachers, parents, activists, artists/artisans, and community builders around the Bay.
For 23 years Cole served the community through a career in education, mainly teaching History, English, and Science in middle schools. Prior to that she worked in publishing, including as Managing Editor and then Associate Editor of Home Energy & Performance Magazine. As well as editing and writing many articles on alternative energy building methods and “systems engineering”, Cole helped to create the first edition of the book, No-Regrets Remodeling. Cole merges her understanding of property values with her creative imagination, helping clients make the most of any property in terms of both investment potential and personal satisfaction.
A lifelong learner, Cole’s education includes a B.A. Philosophy (ethics / science) from San Francisco State University and an M.F.A. Creative Writing (science journalism) from University of San Francisco, as well as three teaching credentials. She continues to study ethics, mindfulness, spirituality, and “right living” in a variety of forms; for example, through earning a Yoga Teaching certificate from Yoga Garden, and a certificate in Urban Permaculture Design from the San Francisco Permaculture Guild. Cole is impeccably trustworthy and handles confidential client matters with the utmost care.
Cole grew up exploring the back roads and enjoying the natural splendor of the Bay Area. She enjoys nothing better than refining her knowledge of Bay Area neighborhoods, and is willing to go the extra mile (literally!) to help clients find the Bay Area home that will best meet their needs and bring them joy.
In Real Estate sales, Cole brings together her profound love of the city of San Francisco and the greater Bay Area, her extensive and detailed knowledge of the SF/Bay Area landscape and neighborhoods, and her deep affirmation to help others realize their destiny and grow their wealth.
