Born and raised in San Francisco, Alex Epstein has spent his life immersed in the city’s neighborhoods, architecture, and real estate market. His deep local roots give him a genuine understanding of what makes each community unique.
Before becoming a residential agent, Alex worked as a project manager for a commercial real estate developer in San Francisco. There, he gained experience analyzing properties, managing construction sites, and navigating complex permitting processes. He also oversaw leasing efforts that generated more than $240,000 in revenue, managed an event venue that brought in over $200,000 through marketing and operations, and assisted in the acquisition of several multimillion-dollar properties. These experiences taught Alex how to evaluate value, negotiate effectively, and market spaces successfully — skills that now help him guide clients through buying, selling, and leasing homes with confidence.
Although grateful for his commercial experience, Alex found the work sterile and impersonal. He was drawn instead to helping individuals — first-time buyers, investors, and renters — achieve real estate goals that could transform their lives. The idea of helping people build wealth and security through real estate became his driving purpose.
Real estate has surrounded Alex his entire life. Growing up in a family that owned and managed several rental properties, he learned early how real estate creates opportunity. In college, he began managing his family’s rentals independently, and in 2024 he purchased his first investment property — a cosmetic fixer that appraised for $100,000 over the purchase price. After renovating and renting it out, he began converting its garage into a one-bedroom ADU to maximize its long-term value.
Alex brings a practical, hands-on perspective to every transaction. He is detail-oriented, education-focused, and committed to helping clients make confident, informed decisions across the Bay Area.
Outside of work, he enjoys Bay Area sports — the Giants, 49ers, Warriors, Sharks, and Cal Bears — and watching movies in theaters or at home with friends.
