Kristen McKenna is an accomplished REALTOR® with a proven history of helping clients reach their goals.
Whether you are a first-time home buyer, a move-up buyer, or building a portfolio, Kristen has the experience and industry relationships to help you identify your ideal property and then own it.

With a strong legal background, holding a bachelor’s degree in both Criminal Justice and Political Science, Kristen is a born leader and advocate. Her background in law led her to become a C.A.R. Probate & Trust Certified Specialist, having completed advanced, professional-level training in probate and trust real estate. This certification equips her to confidently guide heirs, executors, administrators, and investors through the complexities of probate and trust transactions. From understanding when probate is required to navigating full versus limited authority sales, court timelines, and tax considerations, Kristen brings clarity, strategy, and compassion during what is often a difficult time for families.

Born and raised in Sonoma County, Kristen doesn’t just work in the North Bay — she lives it. With generations of family history woven throughout the region, she brings insider knowledge of Sonoma, Marin, the Russian River area, and San Francisco that only comes from a lifetime of connection. From her current home in Santa Rosa to her family’s longtime roots in San Francisco, Burlingame, and Cazadero, Kristen knows these communities inside and out because they’re part of her story.

Her ties to West County run deep. Kristen has been actively involved in local education for over a decade. As a parent and volunteer at Summerfield Waldorf School, she was instrumental in developing the farm class and outdoor education program on the school’s biodynamic farm, helping shape a hands-on learning experience that connected students to the land and to each other. Currently, Kristen serves on the West County Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee and the Forestville Academy of Innovative Arts Site Council, where she helps ensure school funds are spent with accountability and in the best interest of students and families.

Kristen’s love of animals and community led her to co-found Long Ears Recovery, a nonprofit dedicated to getting kids outside and working alongside rescue donkeys — using the power of that bond to bring healing, purpose, and joy to both. When you work with Kristen, you aren’t just getting a REALTOR® — you are getting a natural negotiator, a tireless advocate, and someone who is genuinely invested in helping people move forward.
