Erin had her initial start in real estate as a property manager for an apartment building in Washington DC, while attending graduate school. While she didn’t initially pursue a career in real estate, she never shook her interest. She returned to the Real Estate industry as an agent in 2006. Erin’s goal is to simplify and de-stress the buying or selling experience for her clients while negotiating the best deal possible.

After graduate school Erin worked as an analyst for high tech, promoting private sector input in trade and policy negotiations on Capitol Hill. She was recognized by Presidents Bush and Clinton for her assistance in promoting the interests and competitiveness of certain high-tech industries. When Erin returned to her home state of California, she managed Strategic Alliances at Autodesk. She launched a software/hardware leasing program that was a first in the industry, reducing the financial burden on small independent firms wanting to work with the latest and greatest CAD/CAM available. Survey data showed the leasing program significantly reduced sales cycle time and increased transaction size. Her last job in high tech was Director of International Strategic Alliances for iSyndicate, an Internet company in San Francisco, where she specialized in expanding distribution channels. Erin’s negotiation and communication skills have transferred directly into her real estate practice. She still approaches deal making and negotiating with the goal of a win/win scenario, recognizing that a successful deal should leave both sides feeling good.

Erin is passionate about providing her clients with the highest level of service. This is what drove her to partner with Vanguard Properties. Vanguard’s professionalism and superior marketing resources are exactly in line with how Erin conducts her business. Erin grew up in San Rafael and attended Marin Catholic High School, UCSB, and George Washington University. She has lived in Mill Valley, Sausalito, and currently in Tiburon. As a third generation Marin dweller, Erin appreciates the beauty and diversity that Marin and the Bay Area offer. She understands the benefits of local knowledge, whether tides and currents or school districts and micro climates, and how planning, or charting a course, increases the chances for success. She enjoys spending time with her husband and teen daughters, hiking, sailing, and giving back to her community. She is an active volunteer at Marin Catholic and Redwood High Schools, and at the St. Francis Yacht Club.
