Kara Cox

A Bay Area native with an international education, Kara combines the deep knowledge of a local with a broad background in both property finance and management to the benefits of her clients. While raised to love the industry by her grandfather, an independent industrial and commercial broker in San Francisco, Kara has always gravitated towards residential. To this end, she has nearly 20 years of experience leasing, selling, managing, renovating, and developing single and multi-family property across the United States.

After taking a hiatus from California to manage assets in Manhattan and complete a Masters in real estate finance at the University of Cambridge, she returned to the Bay Area to resume her career as an agent and investor. In addition, she volunteers her time to benefit numerous non-profit organizations, such as the Urban Land Institute, and served on the Public Works Commission in San Mateo. Her expertise as a homeowner and resident is Lamorinda, where she has settled to raise her children. In addition, she regularly works in her hometown of San Mateo, where she owns property, as well as the adjacent cities of Belmont, San Carlos and Burlingame. Walnut Creek, Oakland, Hayward and Concord are also favorites around the Bay.
