Macon Brown

Macon Brown’s design sensibility opened the door to a career in real estate, but it’s the opportunity to work with great clients that keeps her there.

She set out towards a career in fashion, studying at Parson’s in New York City. More than a decade of experience in fashion design, luxury sales and celebrity styling lead her to work with high profile clients and designers such as Michael Kors, Emily Blunt and Isla Fischer. There, she could flex her creative muscle. She loved the process of working with clients, getting in their heads about what they really wanted, and figuring out a way to deliver it. “I really want to blow my clients away.”

Leaning into interior design she took a new interest in architecture. She designed a collection of home goods for Joel Fitzpatrick and helped him renovate Norah Jones' Brooklyn townhouse. This experience encouraged her to pursue her own property development business. “I asked a lot of questions around job sites and learned a lot about framing, electrical, plumbing.” She founded Randolph Brown LLC in 2012 and never looked back. She has since acquired both residential and commercial investment properties, designed and managed a myriad of projects ranging from tiny bathrooms to full gut renovations of multi unit buildings.

Macon works in New York, Los Angeles, and Lexington, KY and has settled in San Francisco. Today, she enjoys lending her imagination and leveraging her experience both buying and improving property to her clients. Sellers come to Macon to get the most from the home they are selling through cost effective improvements. She provides buyers the edge to find and realize the home-that-could-be, the diamond in the rough.
