Having called San Francisco home since 1989, Jean-Paul moved here after earning his Master’s Degree in International Policy Studies from the Monterey Institute of International Studies, now the Middlebury Institute for International Studies at Monterey, followed by a Post-Graduate degree as a Fellow with the prestigious Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs. His public service journey began as a Senate Intern for the late Senator Edward M. Kennedy in Washington, D.C. as well as for a member of the House of Representatives. His tenure as Chief Aide to a member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors further enriched his engagement in San Francisco’s civic and political communities. Jean-Paul has also served for many years as the Legislative Liaison to the Board of Supervisors for the San Francisco Planning Department, gaining invaluable insights into the city’s real estate development landscape.
With over seven years managing his family’s international tour operations business across the U.S. and France, Jean-Paul brings a wealth of business acumen to his real estate practice. Committed to community service, he has volunteered on various boards of directors for local non-profit organizations and as a City Commissioner. Jean-Paul was a member of the Treasure Island Development Authority Board of Directors for over 10 years, helping to create today’s new development on the Island, and had the honor of serving on the San Francisco Landmarks Preservation Board.
Residing in the Mission Dolores, Jean-Paul leads an active lifestyle as an avid cyclist and was a dedicated Spin Instructor at Fitness SF for over 15 years, where he passionately led spin classes from 2005 to 2020. He is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Arabic. His other passions include fun times at the park as a dog parent, Peloton, music, travel, and time spent with his husband in the wine country and in Mexico.
